Remember your visitors need

Many times as website owners, we do not think like our visitors. A course of action that might seem perfectly obvious to us may stop our visitors right in the middle of their buying process. Take, for a sample, an e commerce directory websites. Do you realize that what happens after your customers read your copy could make or break your sale? I’m not talking about shopping cart abandonment. I’m talking about good communication that keeps the buying cycle moving forward.

One website offer custom designed gift shirt. The pictures on their site were beautiful. The copy seemed self explanatory until I got to the request for quote page. There I found a form that asked questions I wasn’t expecting. I was supposed to explain my preference of fabric color and many other questions. I had no idea how to answer.

I learned many new essential to web development and online competition. It is hard and sometimes stressful. But there is some point that you always have to remember.

Do care for your visitor needs, don’t just value your web traffic that was created just solely by an extensive of SEO practise. Remember that you have to love your visitor when the converted in sales, newsletter subscrition or any other goals.
